Dr. Diane Six identifies herself as a professor of entomology. Interview with Dr. Six about the beetle kill epidemic she is seeing in this area. She says she sees increased beetle activity all over the world, but here she is seeing the beetles having a large affect in a system in which they had previously had not been. Six says there is no way man can stop this, this is a climate driven problem, and she says we need to address the climate change problem, and reduce the CO 2 emissions, and says if the warming continues there is nothing that can stop this. She says Idaho has only 2% of it's white bark pine left, and it is disappearing across the west.
