Penny Preston Produced story about the death of Erwin Evert, a botanist who lived on Kitty Creek, about nine miles east of Yellowstone in the Shoshone National Forest. Evert was killed by a grizzly boar that had been trapped, had its tooth pulled, and was coming out of sedation when Evert walked up on it. Evert was killed, and the bear was tracked down and killed. This was the first of six human deaths caused by grizzlies in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem from 2010 to 2015.
