CU Smith talks about recent Nepalese earthquake. He says earthquakes happen all over the world where plate tectonics collilde. He points out we are on the Teton fault, which created the Teton mountains. Says the earthquakes here would be no larger than 7 magnitude, because the fault is only 40 miles long. He says earthquakes here happen much less frequently. He says earthquakes are the biggest hazard in the Yellowstone region, not volcanos.
