Public domain footage of "Yellowstone Wolf Project 2012 Research Collaring" featuring research by Park Biologist Dr. Douglas Smith. This is only part of the entire 14 minute .mov file provided to the Draper Museum of Natural History. Video starts with Dr. Smith explaining why collaring is important. He also describes the bloodwork they do on the wolves. He describes the trapping they do from a helicopter. Raw footage trapping, working up the wolves, including measurements. Smith says they have the largest data group on wolves. He continues to talk about collaring wolves.
