Description
A large crowd of men , women , and children stand outside of the Denver Elks Lodge after the arrival of William F . Cody’s funeral procession at the corner of 14th Avenue and California Street in Denver , Colorado . The crowd stretches around the corner and down California Street as people file into the building . An empty caisson drawn by six dark horses with two men wearing military style uniforms sitting on the driver’s seat and three men ride on the left horses stands in the middle of the crowd . On the right a man rides a white horse . Three dark-colored automobiles are parked in front of the building by the curb . A group of people stand on the balcony of the building and look down on the crowd below . A streetlight sits on the right of the entrance of the building . On the front of the building a clock sits between two pillars and is topped by elk antlers .
